Is NotchNook free?

NotchNook is a paid Mac application with a 48-hour trial that includes all features and does not require a payment card. Downloading the trial does not begin a paid subscription. A free trial is different from a permanently free license: use the evaluation period to check the app on your own Mac before choosing a plan.

Start with the official download and test the functions you expect to use every day. Check music controls with your preferred player, your calendar, notes, tasks, timers and file Tray. If a feature is not working, contact support before paying rather than assuming another purchase will resolve it.

Monthly or lifetime?

A monthly subscription suits someone who prefers a recurring payment while the subscription remains active. A lifetime license is a one-time purchase under the terms shown at checkout. Compare both on the current plans page; do not assume a price from an old review still applies.

Your choice should reflect how often you expect to use the app and whether you prefer recurring billing. This article does not promise future features, a particular return on investment or a resale right. The license terms describe permitted use and are part of the purchase decision.

Prices, discounts and older promotions

The current plans page and checkout are the source for available prices and applicable offers. Search results for promo codes, Black Friday, discounts or a 2025 price may describe an expired campaign or an earlier store. This guide does not supply a universal discount code or revive an old offer.

Check the currency, total and billing interval before confirming payment. A launch subscription price can have conditions about remaining subscribed; read those conditions at checkout. A personal support offer belongs to its eligible recipient and should not be confused with the public price.

Billing and cancellation

For a current subscription, use the billing portal available from the app’s License settings to manage billing or cancel. Quitting or uninstalling the app is not the same as cancelling a subscription. Check the portal confirmation and the applicable terms before assuming a billing change is complete.

If you already paid but cannot activate, do not buy again. Contact support from the purchase email with the order reference and error. Earlier-store purchases follow their applicable support process; a historical key or receipt is not automatically a current-store entitlement.

Choose after testing

The useful question is whether the app improves your actual workflow. Try the panel on the display where you work, use the permissions needed for your chosen features and check responsiveness with your normal applications. Compare alternatives if your requirements are different.

When the trial meets your needs, view the current plans and buy on getnotchnook.com. Keep the confirmation email and activation key private. For questions about an existing purchase, use support instead of a public post containing your key or receipt.
