Install the current app

Download NotchNook for macOS 14.6 or later on Intel or Apple silicon.

The high CPU usage, lag and crashes reported in early versions of NotchNook have been fixed. See the performance update and release notes.

Open the panel

Move your pointer to the notch or swipe down on the trackpad. On a display without a notch, use the handle at the top of the screen.

If the panel does not appear, check that NotchNook is running. For an external-display issue, tell support which display is affected.

Music, calendar and camera

Start playback in your music app and select its source in NotchNook.

For calendar or mirror access, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and enable the relevant permission for NotchNook.
